I’m Tommy Mandrus, a designer with six years of experience in the creative industry. I specialize in branding, graphics, and advertising. My approach juxtaposes lost media with contemporary digital editing to create some truly special results.

I've spent years refining my style of reviving media from various sources- museums, archives, magazines, or advertisements, and transforming them into something completely different. My work is characterized by boundary-pushing graphics- creating visuals that challenge conventional design norms.
While I excel in individual projects, my true strength shines in collaborative environments. I thrive when working with diverse teams, leveraging collective creativity to produce exceptional results. Some fun facts about me are that I love to ski, play violin, and draw. I love anything where I can be creative and express myself. I have a tendency to stick with things until I get it right. Failure is a part of the creative process, so I embrace it and fail forward. I've held onto my child's eye (not in a creepy way) and use it as a lens to see problems and solutions in a different way. I think these talents are what makes me a special part of any team.
When I was in kindergarten I got sent to the principal's office because I was drawing on the tables. I think that is where my rebelliousness began, because ever since that day I have always loved counter-culture rebellious hobbies, like skateboarding and making art. A lot of what I create taps into some sort of rebellion, whether its using lost images and completely transforming them, or simply breaking the rules of graphic design.
